About

We are a small team that would rather build the thing than write a deck about it.

Bara Al Sandoog started in Kuwait with a simple idea: the gap between a good concept and a working product is craft, and craft is something you can only get by doing the work yourself.

Today we work across three surfaces that most studios keep separate — software, physical signage and brand design. A retail client might come to us for a display and leave with the system that runs it. A founder might come for a landing page and leave with a product team.

We also build our own ventures. Some grew out of client work, some out of a problem we kept running into. Running our own products keeps us honest about what it actually takes to ship and maintain something.

Omar Al-Othman

Founder & CEO

Omar Al-Othman founded Bara Al Sandoog and runs it. He is an electrical engineer by training and a software engineer by practice — and he has built each of these products himself.

Before Bara Al Sandoog he was a software engineer at ITS, developing and maintaining systems for Kuwait Finance House, and he still consults on automation and electronic archiving. His own technical work runs from applied AI — computer vision, deep learning — through cryptography to full-stack product engineering: a spatial-mapping device invented in 2017, a computer-vision system for cancer detection, an encryption protocol, an ERP and point-of-sale platform, and farm automation in Al-Wafra.

That background is the point of this page. The products you are reading about are founder-built, the running costs to date are server hosting, and there is nobody between the plan and the person executing it.

01

Ship, then polish

A working version this week beats a perfect plan next quarter. We get something real in front of people early.

02

Own the whole thing

Whoever builds it, runs it. No throwing work over a wall and hoping.

03

Say the hard part out loud

If a deadline is unrealistic or an idea is weak, you will hear it from us early — not in the post-mortem.

What we do

Design, technology and craft, delivered end to end.

Software development

Web platforms, internal tools and APIs — built to be handed over, documented and maintained rather than rewritten in a year.

Smart displays

Interactive screens and digital menus that update from one dashboard, so the content stays current without anyone touching the hardware.

Custom signage

Signage designed and fabricated in-house, from a single storefront piece to a full wayfinding system across a venue.

Decorative solutions

Handcrafted booths, interior fit-outs and exhibition builds — the physical side of a brand, made to survive real use.

Marketing services

Brand identity, campaign design and the content that carries them — produced by the same team that builds the product.

Tech consultancy

Architecture reviews, vendor selection and a straight answer on whether you should build it, buy it or leave it alone.
